Escape the Dark Castle is a simple yet atmospheric cooperative adventure game inspired by 80s fantasy nostalgia. These three adventure packs add new bosses, chapters, characters, and mechanics to deepen your escape attempts. Each can be played standalone or mixed with the base game.
Cult of the Death Knight
The Death Knight has risen to prominence, his dark cult bringing new danger to the castle. Features 3 new specialist characters, 15 chapter cards, curse mechanics, and the terrifying Lord of Decay himself.
Scourge of the Undead Queen
The Undead Queen calls corpses, skeletons, and spirits to her service. Introduces the companion mechanic - ally characters who can aid your escape. 15 new chapters and a necromancer boss await.
Blight of the Plague Lord
A new threat stalks the castle - Plague. Encounter infected Carriers and risk contracting the disease yourself. Features 3 new characters with unique split-double dice and the half-human Plague Lord.
📦 Requires Base Game
All adventure packs require a copy of Escape the Dark Castle to play. Each pack's 15 chapter cards can be played as a standalone mini-campaign or shuffled together with the base game and other packs for maximum variety. A Second Edition with new expansions is coming in 2025.
